Carrying around more than 50 feet of hose is difficult and tiring due to the weight. However, if you use a reel, you can move long lengths of hose with ease, then unwind only as much hose as you need. This makes it practical to use hoses up to 150 feet long.
A leader garden hose connects the reel to the spigot. This hose needs the right ends for both the spigot and the inlet on your reel.
